↑上記の記事に関して語ってみた、その2。
筆者が購入したいサントラです。こちらはもう…なんというか、しぬまでに購入できればいいんじゃないでしょうか（諦めの境地）。
曲について。「恐怖」を「静かに」あおる曲群です。そして、画面を縦横無尽に移動するサムスの「動」と「静」の曲の対比が印象的だなと思っています。
惑星ゼーベスに到着し、雷雨の音だけで始まる冒頭。そこから場面が切り替わり、未知との遭遇をイメージしているかのような「クレテリア宇宙海賊出現」。すでに「恐怖」は始まっています。
それに対し、「恐怖」というより「奇妙」「神秘」を表しているような「ブリンスタ植物密生エリア」。めちゃめちゃ大好き。オーケストラ調が多い本作の曲の中でも打ち込みっぽい曲で、ギターとパーカッションの印象が強いです。また、「ブリンスタ赤土エリア」も、同じブリンスタの曲なのに「神秘」ではありますが違う方向性の曲です。こちらも本当にいい曲。この曲のためにブリンスタに戻りたい。サビのピアノが美しくて泣けます。
筆者が大好きなのは、「マリーディア岩の地下水エリア」ですね。静かに優しい曲。これも美しい曲です。なんでアクションなのにこんな優しい曲なの、大好き。
そして、ゲームも終盤になった頃に聴ける「ノルフェア古代遺跡エリア」。リドリーとの迫る対決を静かに鼓舞してくれる曲です。強敵が奥に待っているという印象ですね。
任天堂のサントラは、とにかくプレミアがつきやすい印象です。また、クラブニンテンドーの特典等で、非売品サントラも多いので、そちらも高騰しているのではないかと思います。
最近は任天堂もサウンドトラックの発売に意欲的な姿勢を見せているので（ファイアーエムブレム、Motherなど）、「過去作の音楽をいかにして拾っていくか、現状の市場に流通させていくか」が、課題なのではないかと思っています。
Misaki-san, I was really happy to find an article about Super Metroid – Sound in Action on your blog! I bought this CD a few years ago! It was quite expensive, but Metroid is one of my favorite game series, so I had to get it! Whenever I listen to this album, I get transported to the mysterious alien planet called Zebes! In my opinion, it is mainly due to the atmospheric music that the environments of Zebes are so memorable and beloved! I will be forever grateful to Mr. Tanaka, Mr. Yamamoto, and Ms. Hamano for their contributions to the Metroid series!
I hope this soundtrack will be remastered one day! I know many people who would love to buy it! Again, thank you for your great article!

Super Metroid is one of my favourite SFC works. Of course, its music is very impressive, quiet, dark, and mysterious… Listening this music always leads us to Planet Zebes!
